This website
- We run no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no third-party scripts. Every font, script and style is served from this domain, and the site's security headers forbid connections anywhere else.
- The only thing stored in your browser is a theme preference (light or dark) if you set one. It never leaves your browser.
- There are no forms and no email capture. Conversation happens on GitHub, under GitHub's own privacy terms.
- The hosting provider that serves these files keeps ordinary request logs (IP address, time, page requested) for operating the service. We do not add to them and we do not analyze them.
The software
A self-hosted Archipelago installation sends nothing to us. It has no update check, no crash reporting, and no telemetry. Engineering files you import stay on the machine you imported them on. Any optional connection to a hosted service is off by default, and the screen that enables it states what would be sent and where. See security and privacy.
A hosted service
None exists. Its data-handling rules are published in advance on the hosted data handling page and will be finalized with counsel before any upload is possible.
