Try it
What you can try today, and what you cannot yet.
No sign-up, no upload, no account. When the platform ships, trying it will mean downloading one file, verifying it, and running it on a laptop with the network cable unplugged.
Today
- The concept walkthrough. Eighty synthetic VAV boxes, the equipment-instance idea, questions with evidence, and a view that changes when a relationship changes. Labeled as a concept, because it is one. Walkthrough.
- The design. Architecture, the provenance model, the connector contract, the security promises with their tests. Documentation.
- The repository. Public from the first commit, with the governance documents and the code as it is written. GitHub.
With the first release Planned
The five-minute path, on your own machine, offline:
# download one file for your OS from the release page, then:
shasum -a 256 archipelago-edge-<os> # matches the release page
./archipelago import backup.dist # reads the file; nothing leaves the machine
./archipelago serve # prints a local address; first run creates the admin account
# open the address in a browser: equipment, points, questions, views, provenance on every fact
# delete everything it made: one folderNothing is installed as a service, nothing is sent anywhere, and the page will say how to delete everything it created.
A hosted trial Planned
Eventually, visiting this site, uploading an engineering file, answering a few questions, and watching the building assemble itself. Not before the security controls are built and reviewed. The staged approach and the data-handling rules are published now, on the hosted data handling page, so they are on record before the service exists.
