The promise

Archipelago is useful with no language model anywhere near it. If you want to point one at it, the tools are there and they are read-only.

What is implemented

• This website involves no AI of any kind.

What is planned

• Every feature works from the model and the rules; none calls a model provider.
• MCP tools are read-only, scoped (no unbounded point dumps), and run under the same permissions as the person who started the session.
• There is no "ask AI" button that sends anything off the box.

How to check it yourself

• Search the repository for any model-provider client. There is none.
